The Octagon Suite

In visual possession of the Historic Ruins, from bedroom, balcony, and private formal garden, Octagon is steeped in the perquisites of the master suite… historic portraits… rare inlaid fruitwood chests, credenzas and armoire... a dressing room graced by Turner-esque landscapes… stately, gracious, permanent… serene.

The Inn's breakfast is a blend of English and Italian culinary culture, including seasonal fruit, hot entrée, and pastries, muffins and breads fresh-baked in our kitchen.


Each night, complimentary refreshments include a bottle of your choice of red, white or sparkling wine from the estate; fruit, cheeses, and specialty chocolates. Inn-baked cookies and cakes are also available.

Complimentary tastings at Barboursville Vineyards’ Tasting Room, souvenir tasting glasses provided upon arrival.
