The Vintage Rosé is the alter ego of our Pinot Grigio in a gorgeous red wine which could come from nowhere else in the region. It is a true rosé of Nebbiolo (25%), Cabernet Franc (40%), Merlot (25%), and Cabernet Sauvignon (10%). Its abundant and complex array of red berry aromas and flavors is wonderfully paired with lightly caramelised grillings or roastings of lighter meats, sausages, poultry, and shellfish. Served chilled, it behaves with Pinot Grigio’s invigorating firmness and elegant suppleness, with grace notes of stone fruit, surprising body, and acidic brilliance lengthened by extracts of natural sweetness, sustained by the tannins inherent in its origin. A necessity for a cottage at the beach and infinity pools everywhere, a natural accompaniment to al fresco dining at any hour, the Vintage Rosé unfailingly celebrates wine, itself. |
